Founded in 1967 as a family workshop, the brand MILAMI stands for the quality and design of children’s shoes. Our products are available in more than 500 retail stores across Serbia and neighboring countries.

Start-rite offers a selection of stylish footwear, including pre-walkers, first walking shoes, school and out-of-school shoes, trainers, sandals, boots, and wellies.

Start-rite shoes come in whole and half sizes and multi-width fittings with generous growing room built into every shoe.
Dyed through leathers
Most Start-rite shoes are made from 'dyed through' leather, which means they keep their colour even after scuffing. So, they'll look as good as new with a quick polish.
Heel support
Many styles incorporate Start-rite's unique heel support, which extends around the heel and down the inside of the shoe to help counteract pronation (a common condition in childhood where feet roll inwards), improve heel fit, and maximize growing room.
Durable soles
Our soles are flexible, lightweight, durable materials, and non-slip.
Washable materials
We know it's not easy to keep children's shoes clean, so some of our shoes (pre-walkers and canvas) are 30°C Machine Washable. So make sure you look out for the symbol.
Breathable linings
Some Start-rite shoes have leather socks and linings or breathable sports linings. These draw moisture away from the feet and allow it to escape through the shoe's surface, providing a healthy, comfortable environment for growing feet.
